Having a dark sense of humor similar to that of Charles Bukowski, a lover of Ruskin Bond's work and a(well, almost) follower of Dale Carnegie, Mayank can often be described as a laidback dreamer and a logophile. Aging reluctantly, Mayank's usual day revolves around a desk in an office to which he is chained from 10 to 6, daydreaming of soon being able to make money while traveling and writing, and retiring at 40. Physical fitness and reading are the two topmost activities that often compete with each other to take up most of his time, since he believes that a well-rounded personality and confident communication makes up for a complete man. Interestingly, he is also fond of wearing the most irresistible fragrances that would make the heads turn. According to him, a good fragrance can be a very formidable weapon of seduction, and lingers on in the olfactory memories of those who you wish to impress even after you are long gone. YSL's La Nuit de l`Homme, Jean Paul Gaultier's La Male, CK One, CK Summer and CK Scene - one of these signature fragrances would usually announce his arrival and ensure his presence well after he has walked out. As much tragically flawed he might be, he likes to believe that he has a good heart. He passionately hates fruitcake & TikTok, loves his formals and strictly believes in splitting the bill equally on first dates, since he wishes to support equality between the genders and what better way than to let the fairer sex enjoy an equal opportunity to pay! Aww, such a cute feminist! Ain't he? He likes to stay aloof from the pettiness of office politics, totally detests the need to massage the egos of those up in the hierarchy, and would be quick to allot one a spot in his imaginary book titled 'Epitome of Arrogance' if one doesn't really treat one's juniors with the same respect with which one treats one's seniors. After all, we are all humans first - creature of emotions, than logic.
